Home Replacing all teeth Dental implant bridge

A thorough examination

The jaw is X-rayed to check the condition of the bone tissue and to determine the placement of the dental implant. An impression is made of the jaw and existing teeth, forming an important platform for the treatment planning.

Inserting the dental implants and provisional

In one session, the dental implants are placed, the abutments are attached and a temporary prosthesis is put in place- followed by a maximum healing period of three months for the lower jaw, and six months for the upper jaw. In combination with a soft diet, the dental implants can be loaded immediately in most cases. However, this depends on your bone condition.

Healing period

A temporary prosthesis is put in place, followed by a maximum healing period of three months for the lower jaw, and six months for the upper jaw.
Innovative technologies and a growth-activating surface provide for secure and quick healing of the implant. Over time it becomes completely integrated with the bone tissue.

Preparing and placing the final restoration

After the dental implants have bonded with the bone tissue a new impression is taken to produce the final restoration. When the bridge is ready, your dentist simply attaches it to the dental implants. This is usually followed by a few follow-up visits to check functionality and esthetics. In fact, it feels and functions like natural teeth.

Care and maintenance

As with natural teeth, proper care and maintenance of your dental implant-supported teeth plays a significant role in preserving an optimal outcome over time.

Make sure to:

  • Make routine follow-up visits
  • Care for your implant-supported teeth by brushing and flossing as you would with your natural teeth
  • Carefully follow the instructions provided by your dental professional
